Upcoming virtual event: Getting Ready for Summer with Regional Center
Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. PDT
Venue: FB Live
When school’s out for the summer and your child is spending more time at home or in a summer program, Regional Center can step in to offer more services and funding to ensure that your family has the supports you need. However, you’ll have to do a little legwork to request the extra services or funding—and make sure to start early! Join our live event with Public Benefits Specialist Lisa Concoff Kronbeck to hear her top tips and get your questions answered when it comes to requesting extra support from Regional Center.
To RSVP, sign up above! (If you can’t attend the event live, RSVP anyway to receive a recap of the highlights and the full replay in your email!) You’ll also receive our weekly newsletter on the topics that matter most to our families.
About the speaker
Undivided’s Public Benefits Specialist Lisa Concoff Kronbeck has both personal and professional experience in the disability community. Her daughter Leah was born two months early with Down syndrome, esophageal atresia, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, and congenital heart defects, and she relies on a g-tube (feeding tube), Daniel Tiger cartoons, and Sesame Street for daily sustenance. Before Leah was born, Lisa was an advocate at a disability rights nonprofit, working primarily in the public benefits unit with services like Medi-Cal, In-Home Supportive Services, and Social Security Disability Insurance. Lisa also identifies as a person with disabilities. She shares her extensive knowledge of public benefits with Undivided families, providing parents with the tools, support, and knowledge they need to advocate for their children with disabilities.
